I am a dedicated advocate, community leader, and long-time Kentuckian with a proven track record of fighting for the most vulnerable and working to create positive change across the Commonwealth. My diverse background, blending professional experience in telecommunications and technology with more than a decade of high-impact volunteer and legislative advocacy, has prepared me to be an effective and compassionate voice for Kentucky House District 40. As a tireless champion for healthcare access and patient rights, I was appointed by the Kentucky Governor to *Chair the Kentucky Rare Disease Advisory Council* from 2019 to 2021.
I also served as a *Kentucky State Ambassador for the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD)*, advocating for the rare disease community and raising public awareness. My efforts in this space earned me the prestigious *Rare Impact Award* from NORD in 2018 and the *Oly Foundation Lifeline Award* in 2019.
Further demonstrating my commitment to patient care, I have been responsible for providing room and board for patients traveling to the UofL Gi Motility clinic through my work with *Gastroparesis Support Services Inc. 501c(3)* since 2015.
Beyond healthcare, I am the founding director of the *Kentucky Cannabis Freedom Coalition* (since 2014), where I have actively worked to change outdated cannabis laws in Kentucky. My commitment to public service and community spirit was recognized in 2016 when I was honored with the title of *Kentucky Colonel*.
In my professional life, I have over a decade of experience in customer-focused technical roles at Charter Communications, troubleshooting and ensuring stable internet and phone services for customers. This background has instilled in me a strong ability to manage competing priorities, maintain a detail-oriented focus, and effectively communicate with internal and external partners—all essential skills for a State Representative. Earlier in my career, I developed technical and leadership skills as a CEO in media and through work in a sterile processing environment at institutions like Sacred Heart Hospital and the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. I am currently furthering my education in the Interdisciplinary Business Studies Cannabis Business Program at Sullivan University, underscoring my forward-thinking approach to Kentucky’s economic future. From my work as an advocate at the highest levels of state government to my day-to-day commitment to helping constituents solve complex problems, I am prepared to bring my collaborative spirit and tireless energy to Frankfort to serve the people of District 40. I am running for Kentucky House Representative to ensure every Kentuckian has a voice, access to quality healthcare, and the opportunity to thrive in a stronger Commonwealth.
